Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Fees

Welcome to the Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Fees service!

Important message for users:

For your convenience, the following payment methods are supported by this application:
       - VISA Debit & Debit MasterCard
       - VISA & MasterCard Credit Card
       - Interac Debit (Interac Online)*
*You must already be set up for online banking with your bank before you can use Interac Online

Please Note: There is no longer a fee for journeyperson certificate renewal (except for Power Engineers and Blasters).

For Power Engineering certificate renewals, there is a two-part process:
1.  Complete the form below to submit your payment online, to renew your certificate.
2.  Complete the Renewal Application and submit online at the following link (note: you will be issued a transaction number from step 1 that needs to be included on this form): https://www.gov.nl.ca/atcd/files/Certificate-Application-form_fillable.pdf .

For any other fees, including exams writing fees, please note:
1.  Payments for exams should be made at least 36 hours prior to the time of the exam.
2.  Refunds cannot be processed online. Refund requests must be made directly to the Department via contact below.
