Mineral Licence Renewal

Important message for users:

For your convenience, the following payment methods are supported by this application:
       - VISA Debit & Debit MasterCard
       - VISA & MasterCard Credit Card
       - Interac Debit (Interac Online)*
*You must already be set up for online banking with your bank before you can use Interac Online


A map staked licence is issued for a term of five years. However, a map staked licence may be renewed and held for a maximum of thirty years provided the required annual assessment work is completed and reported on and renewal fees are paid as required.

Mineral Licence Renewal Fees are:
For year 5 $25/claim
For year 10 $50/claim
For year 15 $100/claim
For year 20 to 30 $200/claim/year

To determine the year of the mineral licence, the number of claims and the due date, please access the Mineral Rights Inquiry Reports found at http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/mrinquiry.asp .

This information is being collected under the authority of section 61(c) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015. It will be used for the purpose of securing payment for Mineral Licence Renewals. Financial information will be shared with Government's card services provider for the purpose of processing payments.
