Fee Payment is Step 1 of a 2 Step Process. Once you have completed Step 1 you must return to complete Step 2 (the application): Criminal Record Screening Certificate and/or Vulnerable Sector Check - Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (gov.nl.ca) .

If you do not complete Step 2, you will not have submitted an application and you will not receive a certificate.

When payment is completed, please download a copy of your receipt and submit your receipt with your completed application where requested.


*The Criminal Record Screening Certificate and/or Vulnerable Sector Check fee is $20.

*This service is ONLY for those residents who reside within the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Jurisdiction.

RNC Jurisdiction

The RNC Jurisdiction includes the following communities: Bauline, Churchill Falls, Conception Bay South, Corner Brook, Flatrock, Labrador City, Mount Pearl, Paradise, Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove, Portugal Cove-St. Philips, Pouch Cove, St. John’s, Town of Logy Bay-Outer-Cove-Middle Cove, Torbay, and Wabush.

If you reside in the RNC jurisdiction and need a Criminal Record Screening Certificate and/or Vulnerable Sector Check, you will be required to provide proof of address within the RNC Jurisdiction.   For more information on documentation required, please visit https://Criminal Record Screening Certificate and/or Vulnerable Sector Check - Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (gov.nl.ca).

If you have never resided in the RNC Jurisdiction OR the Town address you provide does not match one of those listed above, DO NOT apply for this service, as your application will be precluded.  Applications for those outside of the RNC jurisdiction must be directed to the RCMP.

This information is being collected under the authority of section 61(c) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015. It will be used for the purpose of securing payment for Criminal Record Screening Certificates and/or Vulnerable Sector Check Fees. Financial information will be shared with Moneris for the purpose of processing payments.
