Reporting Issuer Certificate Fee

Important message for users:

For your convenience, the following payment methods are supported by this application:

- VISA Debit & Debit MasterCard
- VISA & MasterCard Credit Card
- Interac Debit (Interac Online)
* *You must already be set up for online banking with your bank before you can use Interac Online

Reporting Issuer Certificates of good standing are provided upon request. The certificate confirms a reporting issuer has met the obligations established under the Securities Act.

The certificates are issued by the Superintendent of Securities of Newfoundland and Labrador under the authority of the Securities Act. For more information on reporting issuers, visit the Province’s website at Reporting Issuers - Digital Government and Service NL.

Fee
The cost of each reporting issuer certificate is $50 (no tax).

Paying for the fee and requesting a certificate requires two separate processes:

Step 1 - Pay Fee:
Using the online payment service, pay the $50 reporting issuer certificate fee. Once the payment is complete, a transaction number and online receipt will be generated. Please attach the receipt in your request e-mail to: securitiesexemptions@gov.nl.ca.

Step 2 - Request Certificate:
Next, request a reporting issuer certificate through the securitiesexemptions@gov.nl.ca email.

• Include a copy of the online payment receipt in the requesting e-mail.
• Indicate the reporting issuer requiring a reporting issuer certificate and the date the certificate is required.
• Include an e-mail and phone number in case a follow up is required.

This information is being collected under the authority of section 61(c) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015. It will be used for the purpose of securing payment for Reporting Issuer Certificates of good standing. Financial information will be shared with Government's card services provider for the purpose of processing payments.
